As part of Bingo Loco’s sponsorship deal with Jagermeister, Event Labs led the charge on brand exposure and deploying promo crews at various shows.

To increase brand awareness at venues where Jager sales may have been historically low and provide a high rate of return to the client.

DETAILS

All online content and sponsored posts were branded. At smaller shows the brand was made prominent through the bingo books, pull-up banners, screen graphics and host call-outs. Larger scale shows allowed us to get more creative with how branding was deployed, using giant inflatable Jager bottles and massive banners rigged to ceilings ensured the brand couldn’t be missed regardless of an attendees position in the venue. As unique projects for the campaign we had standalone Jager area at our 5,000 person festival Loco Land and also a full Jager branded bar installed at the Bingo Loco’s pop-up panto venue at Christmas.

Initially a third party promotions agency was utilised for brand activations with promo crews but we saw inefficiencies in this and later shifted to delivering these in-house which saw a 70% increase in bottle sales per activation and at a lower cost to the client. This also allowed more comprehensive weekly reporting on the campaigns progress with figures broken down per venue being sent back to the client for review.

RESULTS

With over 400 events during the campaign period venues saw an increase in their bottle sales. The client renewed sponsorship for a second year giving us the opportunity to bring key learnings into 2020 as we deliver to even more people at the same price.
